Just a heads up, I dont know if this has already been talked about or what but today I went to Realistic tattoo with my friend and it was the WORST experience. Walked in and the place was so dirty. I actually had to lip the chair cover because it was that nasty, and then the guy there was the biggest jerk hole in the whole world. He refused to do the tattoo how my friend wanted it. So he pretty much yelled at her and told her to go find someone else to do it.. SO they lost 2 sales tonight good goin. If anyone is looking for a tattoo place American Art is wonderful. Nice guys, Great customer service, and they're clean. lol

Ive gotten my tattoos from there and am more than happy with them. 

I got a tattoo there a while back and it was as clean as anywhere else. They didn't refuse to do my custom tat.

How would people just assume it was a different word? People use weird words to explain stuff all the time and expect others to known what it means.

Seems to me you created an acct just to go off on them. I'm assuming you own or work at another tat shop and just don't want to say it? 

If the place was dirty, why didn't you & your friend turn around & go somewhere else in the 1st place.

I know when I look for a tattoo shop I check for cleanliness first, then look through their portfolio. I don't settle on the 1st place I walk into, I hit up all the local shops first before I make a decision on who I would trust to permanently ink me.

OU812 & BenJones2012 are right...the newby with no name sounds like they're employed by American Art & are trying to drum up business with a fake review.

If no name was so concerned they could post their review on Yelp & then turn in the tattoo shop for Health code violations if it was as nasty as they claim, instead of anonymous defamation in a UG forum. 

Plus, my tattoo artist turns away work if he doesn't agree with attaching his business to the art he inks. Like Gangs, racisim, or anything else against his morals.

I got my nose pierced at Realistic Tattoo a few years back. I thought the shop was very clean, and actually liked it more than most of the shops in town. 

The artist who did my chest piece refused to tattoo hands and necks unless it was the last place possible to tattoo somebody. Lost him some customers, but he had a lot of respect for it.

If I walk in a place and it's unclean or smells badly, I'm right back out that door. There is something messed up about the story here. If "no name" was trying to drudge of business...I think it back fired. I'll make sure my Marines know not to go there. I don't like people slamming others for the sake of business. If it truly was an honest experience then why not report it to BBB, health board and all over the various internet sites? It's only on here.

Im sorry Realistic Tattoo will not just put on any tattoo on you that want...and the tattoo you wanted was really bad .. we have one of the best reputations in 29 palms and would like to keep it !! so yes if you want a tattoo that looked like a 5 year old drew it and wont let us draw something better for you (like we did)then we will totally tell you to go somewhere else sorry!and to say are shop is dirty and we are mean is totally wrong and childish!!

We are all clean and sober @ Realistic Tattoo and non of us smoke ! So no not our shop with a circle of old guys smoking out front !
