Anyone know what is going on? Traffic is backed up at every gate. I've been trying to get back on base for the last 40 minutes and I'm still not there. Just curious. 

Dunno, but I'm going to ask if I ever get to the gate. I've been sitting on Morongo for about 15mins so far. 

They have to scan every single ID, that's what. 

I am sure the blowing dust does not help.

I asked this morning. Base CG has ordered them to scan every ID. He said it could be a permanent thing. I'm wasting so much gas sitting there for an hour and ten minutes every morning. Buses are being pulled out of the line of traffic and escorted to the front by PMO because kids are getting to school late. It wouldn't be so bad if each gate had more than one lane.

The main gate does, idk if they open both now. when I lived out in town they didnt. 

Shenanigans...i live 10 minutes from base and have to leave over an hour early now...booo!!! 

I don't think it will last forever. This morning they had 4 lanes going at the main gate. Feels like Lejeune all over again!

They closed off one of the exit lanes and made it an entrance and were using the service truck lane as a lane as well. 

The Ocotillo gate wasn't as backed up when I left at 8:00 to take my daughter to school. Only took me 10 minutes to get back through it on my way home. Better than the hour and twenty minutes from yesterday.
