Anyone have a ton of problems with them? Or am I just super special? LOL We've had them since July and at least once a week phone, cable or internet is down. Sometimes all three. I call complain. I'm told there is an outage in my area. Magically seconds later it works. This process is really getting old.

Erin --- 12 years ago -

We switched very quickly from them.

kElJoY --- 12 years ago -

No problems and we have all 3. Once in a blue moon is about it but rare...even when it storms.

I have had them for quite some time and every once in a while I have a problem.

prettylady3 --- 12 years ago -

I've been here less than a year and we're on our third cable box from them.

I always had issues in the beginning but since they came and put a booster in and I returned my beloved DVR box, I have had ZERO issues. I have no choice but to keep them b/c there is a tree blocking my satalite view(lucky me) and housing will not let them run wires down from the other side of the house.

Only have an issue when there actually is an outage. Only use them for internet though because we use Directv

Ditto Chad here, only use them for internet services, and they seem fine, no outages so far.

DJCC --- 12 years ago -

I've had their internet service for three years at two addresses in 29 palms and it has been phenomenal. The speeds are outrageous - I routinely get 25Mbps down and 2Mbps up. I've had their telephone service since December of last year and haven't had a single outage. TV service, I don't know - just added that 2 weeks ago. My only complaint so far is that PBS isn't in HD :( It pains me to watch shows like Nature in SD!

I did notice the HD DVR I got from them runs very hot, it doesn't have any active cooling which allows the box to be quiet. You can't put anything on top of the box, nor another device beneath it or else it'll die an early death. The sides/rear need plenty of room as well.

Both the places I've rented out here the homes were less than 5yrs old, so the wiring to the pole and throughout the house was pretty new. Before we PCS'd here I was in a home back east with older wiring, I was constantly having problems with Time Warner. It only cleared up when I got a new run to the pole and started running my own lines throughout the house.

7.76Mbps download speed, and 0.65Mbps upload speed currently.

Thanks for that tool, my son does it all the time, but now I can as well...:-)

DJCC --- 12 years ago -

24.38Mbps down / 1.87Mbps up, but I'm on the 'Turbo' package.

Also, you could be getting less because something else (some activity on your current PC, or another PC in the house) is using part of your bandwidth. Tool is most accurate when nothing else is using your connection.

Mari (Mod) --- 12 years ago -

Yeah, there are four other people using computers, IPads, and phones on the network as well, and my oldest said he was downloading at the time.

We are on box three with Time Warner and I've lost count on the complaint phone calls I've had to put in. This week has been really bad. It turns on and off by itself as well as the info box keeps popping up and freezing on our screen. I've had to reboot at least 10 times this week. A lot of our channels have failed lately as well. So over Time Warner but we are locked in for awhile.

I begged to switch from Direct TV and AT&T aircard for internet. It was cheaper and I liked the idea of a home phone again. I had problems with their internet in Yucca after a few issues they came out and messed with something. Never had a problem again. I think I just need to complain more. Luckily we aren't in a contract. It's just a hassle to switch again. And admit they suck since I begged to switch to them!

Downloadspeed:1.787Mbps

I checked my internet speed test here ScanmySpeed.com .
Is this good or not?
