I'm getting a little ticked off nobody checked with me about what was okay or NOT okay to send. 

We Grandparents do as we darn well please; if you don't like it; don't become a Grandparent....Its one of our privileges.....we earned it my putting up with the likes of you.....ROFLMAO~~~~~~~~~~ 

My inlaws sent 4 boxes of gifts for us ( spending an EXTREME amt of money on shipping so they arrive in time) and we didn't want to exchange this year since we weren't seeing anyone. UGH! I told her she spoiled the kids and she siad, thats what grandma's do.

That's exactly what happened - I spent an inordinate amount of time on the telephone with one set of grandparents and NOTHING came that we talked about. RME

Oh - believe me - they will LOVE these presents. I made the mistake of letting them open my dad's presents early - you can imagine my chagrin when they opened up the Wii.

Those are GREAT presents!! Well i guess not for you but the kids prob thought they were awesome! 

They don't know about the PS3 yet. I'm dreading them opening it. I may as well have not shopped at all this Christmas - trumps everything else.

Well all I have to say is they are very very lucky to have grandparents! I knew my grandmother for a few short years, and my granpa (dads side) also for a few short years! To this day I miss them deeply. Nothing more amazing than having a grandparent.

Yes I know. I was that way too. I even had all my great-grandparents growing up. They are lucky in that they also still have a great-grandma - my SSSHH's grandma!! She is 91 and very healthy!!

I have definitely missed my grandparents and great-grandparents. I wish my kids still had my mom around - she was the BEST. *sniff sniff*

I consider myself very lucky because our parents do a very nice job of getting the munchkin stuff off the list we/she makes. Then again, she's only 3 lol. Who knows how long it will last.

We consider ourselves lucky as well that the boys have their grandparents and they do send them such great stuff - takes the pressure off of us and leaves more $$ for buying tylenol. ;) 

My parents spoil the heck out of the kids and so did my grandma. Heck even as a grown woman I got all excited going to her house on Christmas because she always gave amazing gifts. She was an amazing woman ( and not for this reason!) and man could she cook! Anyhow, spoiling is the grandparents job. But for me major game pieces are a no no. I think the kids are to young to have their own seperate players. We have a couple family ones and that's for us to enjoy together. But that's just how we like it here :)

Fortunately for you, both the Wii & Playstation's controllers are wireless, you just have to worry about them not putting the controllers on the charging station (sold seperately), or keeping up with recharging the rechargable batteries (also sold seperately). 

If it helps the ps3 plays blue rays? lol and u can also watch Netflix and Hulu from it. 

Thank you for all the info peeps - all helpful. I'm working through my video game issues lol. I just need to stay a step ahead of them - that's what I have you all for. ;)
