For the peeps who live on base or on it often....If you could change any one thing about anything on the base, what would it be?? :-) 

Add a Panera Bread or a Chipotle. I am really excited about the Jamba Juice that will soon be here!!! 

I would get rid of the ridiculously unhealthy restaurants for better options. I'd personally love a Chik-Fil-A

Well I'm not going to eat there every day, but they have a crap ton more healthy options than Carl's Jr. does.

If I could change one thing, it would be that if you miss your appointment at the hospital, you have to reschedule. And there should be a fee for missed appointments just like in private practices.

It goes back to the sense of entitlement that some people have - that their time is more valuable than others' 

^^^^I agree. I have not missed an appt and cxcl when I can't make it.

But at the same time, I have shown up for blood tests and other appts only to find that they do not have me in the computer. So I have to then either sit there and wait for them to track down whoever (or I go track them down) to get my name in the computer. So I would change the service level at the hospital as well.

I would like to see less civilians working on the base(and all bases). They say the govt is broke but all these civilians are being hired. Make the Marines do the job or hire retired military to do it.

^I would change the quality of care standards the naval hospital has cuz I have not had the best experiences there... and Id get rid of that awful girl that works in peds.

Easier access [but I know these times there's high security lately]because it's different world then town ..less crime and no 'bad bums' going up to shoppers in the public .More city-wise organized with nicer atmosphere to me anyway [I WISH TOWN HAD that now!]. The military persons and families seem to carry themselves more often like they have thinking heads and people in town believe anything they are told like people I see in fastfood places lol..Quick to 'accept' the most unbelevable, unproved stuff as factual.Am I being too mean here though ? Some books only exist to rake in money maybe why. 

one example is they think the big Pyramids in EGYPT cannot be made or built by humans because they read an opinion that people don't have clever brains to plan that /but truly people way back then just had the spare time to work at things very hard in organized groups..Like big dreams in their head to finish a big thing.No metal cranes of course, but human raw strength did most of that.

plasticstars-that just means the crazy kids will stay off the streets lol there are so many small kids running around here on base. do parents think that just because we live on base their kids are safe?
