Looking for anyone and everyone who has bought a vehicle from Rad Wheels in twentynine Palms and has had problems with there vehicles after the warranty expired. trying to build class action lawsuit against dealership for selling "Turkey" cars to the public. Please Respond to post asap with car info and problem and when vehicle was bought.Thank you.
thank goodness i read this!
just got approved for a loan for a truck i liked from their! but then went to ford today and found a much better one with lower milage so i upgraded my loan for the card from ford!
so glad i didnt purchase the one i wanted from rad
I recently called a repair shop in Yucca and their first question to me was "You didn't buy from Rad Wheels, did you?". (We didnt) I laughed. That place has such a reputation I dont know how they get business.
Thats why Rad Wheels is one of the businesses blacklisted for most units here. When my hubby checked in here one of the first things told to him was stay outta the stumps and dont buy from rad wheels. Those people pray on young marines.
Okay, so they will automatically qualify you and then stick you with a lemon? There is a lemon law out there. It's illegal to sell a vehicle that doesn't pass the safety test. Just saying.
That place seems to change ownership and the name of the place a lot. LOL! I didn't know they were called 'Rad Wheels'. I guess they are trying to fool the public with a different business name because of their bad reputation. I knew someone who bought a car there before and they had so many problems with the car. It was a nightmare for them. I don't believe they were called RAD WHEELS yet. Same people with changed business name. Someone needs to run these fools out of town.
Wait, you have a vehicle to test drive for the weekend?? I've never heard of that lolĀ
I agree. Something smells rotten in 29 Palms and it's the Rad Wheels. Poca, take it back ASAP! They may have drawn up paper work making it look like you bought it. Just saying. LOL!
well when i had went online to look at the blacklist for base, they where not on there. i recently bought a truck and after two weeks my engine light had come on and i took it back and he said that he was expecting the O2 cencor had broken. WTF right? i tried to tell him that i wanted to just give the car back but he refused and he had already sold my old car. so basically i got screwed. after i gave the truck a tune up after the first three thousand miles, i discovered the engine oil was lumpy brown, three spark plugs where cracked and missing the white part that connected to the wires. Once again WTF! It began to shake bad after the tune up. i couldnt figure out why and so i had taken it to a mech and they told me my engine block is now cracked right at the exhast port and now my radiator leaks into my exhast. so basically its going to cost me the value of the truck just to get it running right again. not to mention the engine sealant they had stuck into the radiator to try and quick fix the problem. This caused it to clog the coolant system and now i have to replace the engine and radiator. If anyone has any advice or a spare engine/ radiator they would be willing to get rid of for cheap contact me asap please. Im also thinking about picketting the place til they decide to shut down or loss all business. Please post ur comment, advice or whatever. thanks for the feedback guys. this is my first vehicle and i feel like a complete fool for buying from them.
I have and since the car is a 99 it doesnt fall into the lemon law. Ive talked to many law firms about my problem. Lemon law only qualifies if the car is still under warranty and is under 120,000 miles. Best ive got is a negligence case for maintainance.
I am baffled that you still have the car. I wouldn't be surprised if the paperwork is all drawn up when you get there. Did you sign anything before you drove off with the car?? A legit dealership would never allow you to take a vehicle for multiple days for a test run.
Yeah just as we had 2 sign at ford for the car we were interested in we were able 2 take that also but hubs didn't have his license. He"d lose out if he pulled sumthing like that because he does not have the check from our bank so he wouldn't profit off it
To take it for a test drive around the block right? Normally taking a vehicle that is not yours for a whole weekend+ is just not done. It adds mileage and who knows if the people will come back with it. Plus you don't have insurance on the vehicle.
you know, i actually know some people who were able to do the same thing. they took a car home for a few days to test drive it and then took it back. i had never heard of such a thing, but apparently its common.
