For those coming down the hill this weekend please be REALLY careful on the roads down here. There will be approximately 12,000 bicycle riders participating in the Tour De Palm Springs annual bike ride. There are five different distances, and five different courses so we will be all over the valley, including Desert Hot Springs and all the way out to Mecca and back. Many of the riders will start coming in on Friday, and not leaving until Sunday, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be careful and share the road with us....

I was out riding this morning and there are already LOTS of riders on the various courses, especially the 100 mile course which goes thru Desert Hot Springs out to Mecca and back into Palm Springs...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE folks, share the road and be careful!!!! 

OK, they are starting to arrive in large numbers....The population in the valley is growing...If you plan on coming down the hill for dinner, be prepared to wait in lines....
