I have two more to add to that. What are the two buildings that are going up on Adobe? One is on the left, one on the right. Both near the dmv. 

The fenced area in Yucca (next to Home Depot), is for the new Super Walmart is what I'm told.

Super Walmart?! Please tell me that's not a joke! 

No, not a joke, it's been in the works in Yucca Valley for at least 5-6 years, lots of issues with the people of YV, they in general didn't want it, they were happy with the current store, and when Walmart didn't think it would go through, they updated the current store, but I guess the permit process and environmental impact reports finally came through. 

Hmmm, that would be great if they would put one there. I understand people wanting to keep a small town small and local, I'm originally from a historic town, but I'm also for the modern convenience. I hate the current store.

You mean where they are doing all of that grading? I think that is more of the solar business. Not positive...but I think. 

. 1 day I went into walmart and there was a petition there and they were telling me that if I signed the petition in favor of the super walmart is that akohls would be built in place of this walmart because currently kohls owns the building they bought it out and walmart is just paying rent

So here is another question - anyone seen the spray painted signs that keep showing up along the side of the road in Morongo? The one yesterday said "Obama will be taking the military jobs next!!"

I was promised that Super Walmart 4 years ago. I need to see a sign first. Like the Sonic, then I know it will be in, in about 3 years! 

What the heck happened to the Sears in Yucca? When did they close? 

I can't remember when exactly now but it has been a few months back. It was in the paper that they were going to close and they sorta sold as much as they could before they closed up shop. 

I know I was in there in August, but heard nothing about it. And nothing was really on sale. Oh well.

Seems to be the way it goes. More nail places and Asian food opening up and all the other stores close. And I still have no idea what those two places on Adobe are going to be
