I hear people say that this town is the ONLY place they'd live of the entire USA and that does not seem only just possible as there has got to be other places to live in a continental size country.. [I lived here 30 yrs which is not because I can live elsewhere] AND my odd question is How much dough would you pay to just live in this town or what's the limit?? Would you pay -example- a million dollars to buy just a home here if you had that?

LOL! 29 Palms is a nice place, if you like peace and quiet. But I have noticed that there are not a lot of opportunities for youngsters there. In the 5 months we have been here, my girls have fallen in love with the city. They say they will never go back to 29. LOL. I on the other may go back when Im 80 or something. LOL

HKay I would use lots of money to be able to check out other towns or the cities too ..I definately would use it to travel some or visit places.Basicallly one thing to live near a good big size church is one.

here. I'd give anything to move home to bama but for now 29 Palms is alright!

If I had a million dollars I would probably find a nice home near Palm Springs. I know of a lot of beautiful and very quiet neighborhoods. Lots of entertainment and great places to eat. 29 Palms is OK, I grew up here and now am living here obviously but if I could afford it I would move.

South Alabama is rather racist. Some of North Alabama is as well but that goes the same for Tennessee and Mississippi. Sadly racism still exists. :/
