We are moving to 29 palms this summer and I have decided to homeschool my children, ages 8 & 12. Has anyone used Hope Academy Charter School? ICE? CAVA k12? Connections Academy? or River Springs Charter? I'm so confused as to which one to go with, help!!! 

I've used the ICE program through Morongo USD, and K12. Both programs would be good resources for the curriculum if you homeschool. With ICE your child would meet with their teacher once per week, to turn in work, and get the next weeks work, this would allow you to work one-on-one with them and their curriculum. K12 is a good program as well, the classes are online daily, and they provide everything (computer, books, science items), they have meet-ups and they also provide a payment twice a year to you for your internet reimbursement (since you need internet connection to join the online classes daily), in both programs the students still go through the state testing periods, and the one for K12 was in Yucca Valley, and one test was given in Palm Springs, I believe for ICE, the test was given (proctored) at the District Office.
