IF this is a true story then I don't see how or why they think this will fly.

Astounding...

Just another reason to add to the list.

It's a sad day when things that aren't medically necessary are being covered...I wouldn't mind if they said my taxes were paying for organ transplants or something of actual value but this... no way! I guess SF figures they should try it there since they are by far the most liberal city we have. I still don't see it going forward at least not without a fight.

Nope. I'm completely serious. Amazingly there are gay people that don't even agree with this either. This won't be the last we hear of it.

Your correct, unfortunately those few make up only a SMALL minority, whereas the majority are all for getting whatever they can for free...they have that "sense of entitlement" mentality.

I guess a few of our military will be exchanging their uniforms if this is true....

Doesn't seem to be any more or less controversial than someone in the military (male or female) wanting to take advantage of the fact that some cosmetic surgeries are offered because of "low self esteem issues". I have known plenty of female Marines, Sailors, and Airmen in my time to get breast augmentations because of said issues, but they were always the most confident people I worked with. Then after the surgery, they demand even more attention (regardless of rank), which isn't conducive to good order and discipline in the workplace . Or male Marines and Soldiers getting liposuction, and they don't have some type of pre-existing condition which prevents them from losing weight.

Now, these examples are a percentage of the people out there who really DO need some type of cosmetic surgery, based on serious self esteem issues, or potential health concerns stemming from lack of corrective /cosmetic attention.

Do I completely agree with the taxpayers having to pay for any of this? Not really. But then again, this country is going to s*** anyways, and I disagree with a lot of things going on within these borders. Hopefully, the American people will get their priorities in order soon. And so will our elected officials.

Rude Rudy, you hit the nail on the head.
