I am wearing a floor length halter top style dress. It's pretty, simple, and not too showy without being boring. :)

I like the classic dresses. Clean lines, and the small details that make the dress pretty and unique. I've seen some really pretty hombre dresses I wish I could afford lol.

what do you hate?
Dresses that leave nothing to the imagination. Skin tight, mid-thigh, can't breathe type dresses don't look cute next to your man at the USMC ball. Just my 2 cents.

I like the classic looks as well RaeRae. You are supposed to be representing your Marine and the Corps when you go to those events.

I do not like the cut out, tight, or short dresses. I also do not care much for the wild prints or neon colors. 

I need a dress this year too!! I only have to find an evening gown for my event though not a ball gown. Been awhile since I shopped for either!!

Nothing wrong with black - it's the easiest to bling out! I'm all about saving money if I don't have to spend it.

Pink? Really? LOL, Never thought about it. Im still looking around. I wish I had thought abt the shoe thing before I bought the dress, but I love the dress so I will look until I find a good shoe.
