Does anyone know anyone who needs a babysitter? I've been trying to find a babysitting job, so i can stay at home with my daughter. I've talked to a couple people, but in the end at some point they never write back and i'm starting to get really annoyed with this. please help out if you can. 

Honestly, you probably won't get it. There are SOOO many wives out here trying to do that same thing. If you go to the course do you become a qualified caregiver or whatever you'll have a better chance. 

I need a sitter for one day a week but I kinda want a daycare for my monster. AND my one day wont really financially help. lol

I actually just got a babysitting job today, but its not everyday. What day do you need a babysitter? If you needed a babysitter 

No offense but wouldn't leave my child with someone who postede on the internet and I am sure alot of moms feel that way. Not all since we have seen wanted adds on yardsale site. Good Luck but like Lance said, getting certified would be your best way to get a good cliental base going.

If I were in the market for a sitter, I'd prefer an "at home" situation instead of a daycare. Daycares always smell like diapers lol. But I'd also prefer someone certified.

That's what Im looking into. I went to get a list of in-home providers but the lady was at lunch. :( Gotta go back tomorrow. 

The only thing I don't like about the in home providers are that there are no video camera's. If they had camera's, I too would prefer that setting. But my daughter does LOVE the CDC on base. She thinks it's great to go to school. 

I'd also prefer someone certified.

Lance is right - lots of wives want babysitting jobs. (I did and got one. yay me!) but some of these wives I wouldn't let near my son!! I've babysat for women off bookoo but I wouldn't get a sitter off bookoo. half of them have crack head lookin pictures. bah!

I work at a home based daycare, she's certified and licensed. She's had her business for over 20 years. We have children of all ages from 10 mos to 11,12. 

Babysitting job 

I saw that and felt pretty bad. I actually got two babysitting jobs lined up and I just have to meet them.

Really? I cant believe that! I figured he was a cheapo because $150 a week for 3 girls isn't that great of pay. 

yep, I think it's a scam, when I called, I told him my name and said I read his ad, and that I was interested in the job. He acted like I was taking up his time. He was a real douche, but anyway, I found a better job, so I should thank him,lol.
