I was lucky to be invited to take some photos for the Fiance` of a returning marine. She was super sweet.. I just wanted to put my welcome back shout out... ;)

WELCOME HOME.....

It's because they had the entire deployment to plan it. Those guys don't do much. My man was attached with -2 a while back. They arent allowed to work more then 8 hours in a 24 hour period with less then 14 hours of rest in between. I understand they are considered "airplanes" but they are unmanned.

you're wrong....
just sayin

wrong about this too...

what does that have to do with anything?
runs to get kel for drama watching*****
She can bring it if she wants to sit there and say our husbands don't work there are quite a few VMU wives here from both 1 and 3.
the comment had nothing to do with "bringing it". TDKM expects drama to come of it and said she was bringing kel along to watch. how would you get confused with her going to be talking smack?
I just don't understand how someone can say that a deployed unit doesn't do anything... even if they're not always busy, they're DEPLOYED. It's not like they get nights and weekends off!
So what is it that your hub does, that the other lady said he doesn't do much?
He is an imagery analyst he looks at the feed from UAVs and locates targets so the artillery can hit them or so the humves don't get ambushed.
it is what it is there are always going to be units v. units and jobs v. jobs. Ashley, you know what your husband is doing over there and you know what the VMUs do. Clearly .'s husband didn't inform her of everything even if it was a few years ago.

Yeah and its not like their living in the lap of luxury he's got no electricity and eating MREs and in crap hole afgan.

Exactly! Even if they did just sit around all day, just being over there is putting their life on the line.

And if he is not alert or doing his job an entire platoon can be in danger! Right?

I know Jenn, I just hate to here people say our husbands don't work.
