do these places depend on location? i know in south texas they dont have as many military discounts the closer you are to a base. 

There is nothing indicating they are by location only. 

We need a list of just those in town that offer discounts...I know KFC here in 29 Palms DOES NOT offer any military discounts....

On the phone with ATT..... and they said they need a military e-mail to verify service and then you will get an e-mail stating whether or not you qualify for the discount. 

I know Verizon told me it has to be in my husbands name for us to get the 15% off our bill. 

Pizza hut has always told us that they don't have one. They've ripped me off of at least $3! lol

my friend's fro emailed this out to us and we went to sizzlers in yucca they said they didnt give us discounts as well as pizza hut..but carrows did 10%

We just showed our ID in store. On the phone they need more verification since they can't check your ID in person. And faxing one doesn't work for them because you could fake one on the comp. 

My experience with Sizzler all over the States is that they only give the Service Member the discount of 10%.
