I know we get a lot of questions and discussion on here about the different military housing neighborhoods on base and off-base. Friday the 15th, MajGen Berger cut the ribbon on the new community center in Vista Del Sol off of 2 Mile Road. Reps from Lincoln Military Housing were there and they said that they hope to make more community centers like this one at their various properties. We posted some photos up on the Combat Center Facebook page. Check the album out. I think you'll agree that Lincoln did a pretty incredible job with the place. It would definitely be nice to see more facilities of that caliber go up. The district manager for Lincoln told me that one of their folks is going to take some photos of the different types of houses in each neighborhood and have those posted up on their 29 Palms website soon so new residents can see where they might live, just an FYI.
