Does anyone know quick this usually goes? We just got orders well be moving ther next month but when I called the housing office they said the wait list is 1-3 months?!? Hubby's an E5 and we have 2 kiddos. I'm really hoping to be settled into a house before holidays 

we moved here a year ago, we were told our wait would be 0-2 months and we're offered a house a week later, but didnt move into until about 3 weeks after they offered it to us. So there is a chance you may get a place sooner than later, but I wouldnt hold your breath. 

We moved here and were told 0-2 months and got called 5 months later to be told we were a month out from getting a house. Needless to say we live in town 

My husband just checked in this past week & by Friday we got an offer. They told us 1-3 months too. We won't be moving till the end of next month but compared to all the horrible wait stories I've been told, I'm really grateful! Good luck :) The thing about the housing here is that you can't get put on the 'waitlist' UNTILL your husband actually physically checks in & that's when you start counting the days. My husband had a month off but we couldn't do anything to speed up the move even though he had orders to twentynine palms, till his check in date :/
