So I seem to always get an itch for gardening at the wrong times. I am dying to start a garden and wondering if anyone knows what can be planted now. Anything that can survive the upcoming cold and frost? I know rosemary can. I have a huge potted plant of it on my porch. I just don't want to waste time and money for it all to die. Thanks in advance for anyones help :) 

Lettuce, cabbage, broccoli. I planted corn, carrots, peas and cerrano peppers within the last couple weeks.

Last year my tomatoes did not survive the frost.
