Hello all :) So I was almost jumped by a spider in my bathroom tonight (ok so I'm being a little dramatic, but it was way to close for my comfort). It was brown, at least the size of a half dollar and the butt was round and very light brown. It was to fast to see anything else but I'm a little freaked out seeing one that big in my bathroom....in my sink! How dare it!! 

Might have been brown recluse? Not sure but my wife and I use Eucalyptus leaves in our house (keep small bowl in each closet). We also learned that spiders hate citrus and since their taste buds are one their legs we use lemon/orange scented cleaners. Good luck!

We try not to use many chemicals in our house and they honestly seem to work well. I hope they work for you. Please update and let me know if it works for you. Have a great evening. 

Oh I forgot to add, if you have dogs please make sure they can't get to the Eucalyptus leaves because they are poisonous to canines. Not enough to kill them but it will certainly mess up their stomach and even makes them drool a lot.
