I actually had a recruit do something similar during training. He threw the live grenade (didn't throw it right) so it hit the concrete wall and came back toward him. He yelled "arrrggghhhhh" as I pushed him to the ground. We nicknamed him ricochet. It's not the same word but your comment made me think of that...it's been a long time since I thought about that. 

Ok....arrrggghhhh I can do when it concerns a Male Marine. ;) 

The "eek" thing is something I say because of the internet show Red vs Blue. Technically they say "eep" but for some reason I don't like that word... eek sounds more silly to me. I occasionally like being a little goofy sine it's my job not to.
