Is this real?f

I want to say this is probably a scam, but if it is real, I feel bad. What are your thoughts on the subject??

RaeRie (Mod) --- 14 years ago -

Scam. Without a doubt.

Dimples --- 14 years ago -

Only those who have carried a couple times would make money like that or more. First timers only make up to 20K seeing as they don't know how they will handle or carry the baby. Those who have had great deliveries will get paid more seeing as they would be in higher demand. Also I would be cautious with someone advertising on a yardsale site. If you are interested in doing this there is more legit ways of going about it.

If you are Military & Tricare is aware that you are providing surrogate services, they have every right to come after you for the entire cost of your prenatal care.

Tricare & surrogates

i thought u could do surrogate through tricare if the other person involved is also on tricare.. thats what they told us a few years ago when we looked into it.

it was going to cost us much more than 20k though.

For Military to Military, yes. But this pertains to the high percentage of Military spouses using Tricare benefits to cover their prenatal cost to allow them to be a paid surrogate. One that is hired & compensated from the agency acting on behalf of the family seeking a surrogate.

Tricare doesn't cover the cost of IVF, so that ends up coming out of the "20k" ( or more )you're paid as compensation.

ok, ive talked to an angency and ive gotten paper work from the angency and it breaks it all down. you got more than $20,000 and military does help in the state of California. The only reason i couldnt do it was bc i was on anti depressants and the agency required you to be off of them for a yr!

Dimples --- 14 years ago -

Let me clarify. You personally get an estimate $20k on top of the paid expenses. Of course the number differs with individual situations and of course if you are high demand. I'm also assuming the price differs with each agency. But the higher take home would obviously be for those in high demand.
A very close friend did this recently and that is where my information is coming from.

o.. ok. i also know what im talking about lol. i talked to several agencies. but those details dont matter.

I also think its silly to post it all on a yss. its like finding an adoptive family in the newspaper, lol! unless your JUNO of course ahahaha!
