Louis Vuitton Purse

Kerry --- 14 years ago -

honestly i can never tell but im not into them type of purse i don't think you should spend more then 50 on a purse but thats just me.

The Paparazzi --- 14 years ago -

LOOKS real... ask to see a pic on the inner tag

Kay1024 --- 14 years ago -

Oh I agree!!!! On the not spending more than $50 part, I LOVE purses like that, just can't justify spending that type of money on them! How about this link:

Another Fake on YS

I e-mailed this lady and she said she's been meaning to put it up to $600 cuz it's such a "good" fake, she's just been busy. Sorry, But I wouldn't spend $600 on a purse I know is FAKE.

I thought Real LV's never had their logo cut off by a seam. I also went to the Louis Vuitton website and couldn't find that "style" anywhere, but I'm no pro either.

01Marine01 --- 14 years ago -

Kay is I believe right. Anyone who has a real Louis wouldn't sell it for cheap. They did make that style ... its the Alma I believe. The leather looks fake and the gold stud rivits look round and they should be sort of pointed.

The Paparazzi --- 14 years ago -

Ask for the authenticity paper... I still have all mine from my dooneys, I wouldn't think that would be something someone would just throw away!

If your gut is saying fake, i would listen to it!

*Stephanie* --- 14 years ago -

Its fake

Most popular bags will say Made in USA NOT France. The new ones or rare ones will be made in France since the US does the larger orders for the states. So see if that says it. Google spotting fakes too ... Louis are the most popular and they have gotten really good at it!

MeMe --- 14 years ago -

It is a Fake! and not a very good one at that... and IMO it just looks cheap... a real LV would NOT look cheap.

Also, these bags average around 500 and up..would you really sell your LV for only 100obo when it is really worth so much more..

These are the 2 main checks I am seeing:

•Check the monogram to verify authenticity. The LV monogram is generally symmetrical from side to side. So look at the bag overall to see if the monogram is symmetrically placed in relation to the handles and sides.

•Look closely at the stitching as it should be very even and straight. In addition, Louis Vuitton places the same number of stitches in the same locations on similar bags. So if you know a particular style of handbag has 5 regular stitches across the top of the leather tab, you can spot a fake if it has only 4 stitches

thats pretty darn neato to know!

also:

If there is a zipper compartment inside of the bag, it is simply not authentic. Real LV handbags contain a patch pocket located directly underneath and center of the LV brand tag. The majority of the LV bags DO NOT contain numerous interior pockets, such as a call phone pocket. Models that I am assured only contain one internal patch pocket are the Manhattan PM and GM and the Speedy 30 models.

Kay1024 --- 14 years ago -

I e-mailed the lady and said that I was ALMOST sure it's a fake, she e-mailed me back " The logo isn't cut off it's sewed into the seam, apparently you don't know everything like you think you do" wowza.

The Paparazzi --- 14 years ago -

DocUriswife --- 14 years ago -

Fake... and you can also tell if the leather is bright tan like that.. Real luis leather starts to darken after use.
