I love decorating for Halloween. The pumpkins, lights - all of it. I love the history of Halloween. I love pretty much everything about Halloween. But I HATE clowns. Even adorable small children dressed up as clowns freak me the heck out. So here's my rant for the night. Earlier tonight the hubs, Zo, and I were at the exchange. We're in the line to check out a few people back when 2 people promoting the SMP haunted house come in to scare one of the cashiers they know and to walk around. Naturally, one of them was a clown. So in the middle of a very busy exchange I barely miss falling to the floor out of reflex, clench on to my husband, start to hyperventilate and pretty much have a panic attack. Enough that everyone around us noticed. It is SOOO embarrassing to try that hard not to wig out and cry in front of that many people. And the horrible part is, since it caught me so off guard I was fighting back tears and literally twitching for the next hour because I expected him to pop out at me any dam* second. Zo's looking at me like I'm crazy and patting my arm, Nick is keeping watch out for the clown and even had to go up to them and tell them to stay away from me, and everyone around me is looking at me like "WTF?". It's really awful when the cashier is apologizing to my husband and asking if I'm okay. It's totally not the SMP people's fault, and I in NO WAY blame them. I just really wish I wasn't so petrified of frickin' clowns. And I've never even been to a circus or read IT. So with my horrifying story out of the way, tell the class what you love and hate about Halloween.

I have feared clowns since I was a kid and still do. 

I love decorating the house and baking halloween treats. I hate all the people who dress up and scare the kids. Last halloween, someone dressed up as michael myers and jumped out scaring myself and my 4 year old daughter at the time. He almost got his faced smashed. He definitely got an a$$ chewing though. Jerks like that ruin it for people who prefer to not traumatize their children 

Well at least you guys know how I feel then. I swear I feel like a 3 year old every time I see one...

I don't like scary at all. We do happy pumpkins and decorations and none of the spider web crap. Also a lot of Halloweenie cupcakes through the month.

Personally I think it is one of the silliest days to celebrate. Not sure what is being celebrated other than everyone buys candy to trade with one another. Should call it candy trading day instead and just leave out all of the other fluff. 

Well I love halloween. I think it's the combination of fall, decorating, dressing up and scary movies that I love. I do love a good scary movie even though I can't sleep after watching it lol

I bought twizzlers, and miniature packs of oreos and ritz peanut butter sandwich crackers. I was aiming towards stuff that wouldn't ruin my diet if I ate the leftovers, lol. When I think bad trick or treat candy I think of the tiny little old ladies who hand out toothbrushes and toothpaste, lol.
